Where does it go?

Located within the Ultimate Flip Lever Astragal System, this retainers and plates would be located in the center of the inactive door, across from the door?s latch.

What does it do?

The retainer sits within the astragal channel to hold the strike plate into place

The strike plate has an extended lip to pull the active door's latch into the inactive door.

The plate and retainer kit enables 4-way adjustment mechanism to properly align the strike plate in your astragal, improving the compression of the weatherstrip

The plates provide additional reinforcement to the holes in which your astragal bolts lock
